Marisa & Adam are MARRIED!

What an amazing amazing amazing wedding... The people were beautiful, the food was fabulous (Southern Soul food including: fried chicken, gumbo, fried green tomatoes, corn bread, cat fish - I know your mouth is already watering!) there were giant balloons, and
a photobooth with props!!

Marisa and Adam were married at the Pearl S. Buck Estate, Perkasie, PA. The day was phenomenal, warm, overcast and no bugs!

The theme of the wedding was - "O' Brother Where Art Thou ... the Wedding!"

It was a relaxed, fun, classy day. I kept hearing people say, "Marisa you should be a wedding planner!" The wedding was THAT much fun!!!

Seriously, if I wasn't already married I would BEG Marisa to plan my wedding!

These are JUST A FEW of the photos Will and I took - the rest will be edited and made EVEN more amazing by the wonderful Liesl at Photo Pink!

Ellen and John's E session!

John and Ellen both met at Harvard, where they are both PhD students in the education field. Not only is this a VERY smart couple, they are also a totally in love and down to earth couple.

I am so lucky to work with people I admire and who are so terrific to hang out with!

For their engagement session we decided to take photos in Cambridge, and around Harvard Yard. John and Ellen were very good sports, they climbed fences, sat in the grass, modeled in front of murals, and even posed with passers-by who wanted to be in the photographs.

John is 6 feet-6 inches, and Ellen is maybe 5 feet-3 inches: this means Ellen owns one of the best collections of high-heels shoes I have EVER seen. (Her shoes are AMAZING!) But, Ellen and John explained, this also means it is difficult for John and Ellen to get photographs of themselves.

At the end of the session we moved inside where John and Ellen shared a cup of tea. Tea was a big part of their courtship :) A cup of tea and shared love of education = a beautiful relationship.

Scott and Whitney are Engaged!!!!

I have never laughed so hard during an engagement session!!!

Scott had Whitney and I laughing the entire session - from breaking the rope swing - while Whitney was on it, to collecting flowers, to drinking and spilling the prop (Gotta love $3 wine from Wal-Mart), and an unusual amount of licking (See photos; poor Whitney.) we had a blast!!

Scott and Whitney met at work. Scott first saw Whitney when she applied for her job (Yes, Scott is her boss!) and he knew the minute he saw her that he had to have her ... 'er... working for the company...

Whitney and Scott live in Marlborough, NH. Their wedding will be this Aug. at Camp Glenbrook. The engagement session was held in Marlborough at a cow barn where Scott's father used to graze his cattle.

The other family member in the photos is - Lucy - a 15 month-old yellow Labrador Retriever. Although she did not stay clean, Lucy was a terrific addition to the over-all theme of the engagement session - laughter, fun and above all else love.

I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of Whitney and Scott's upcoming wedding!
