It's one thing to do what you love.
It's something else entirely when you can use something you love to help someone.
Each year the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc.
asks photographers from across the region to donate their time and expertise to photograph children who have been waiting at least a year to find a family to call their own.
The images are collected and hosted in galleries and public settings across New England.
This week I had the honor of volunteering my camera, but even more, I had the privilege of meeting a wonderful person.
The goal of the Heart Gallery is to raise awareness about adoption from foster care, and to find adoptive homes for more than 600 Massachusetts' children who wait.
Since its inception in 2005, over 200 children in Massachusetts have been photographed. The images are displayed across Massachusetts and
New Hampshire.
